So I have just ordered my Arduinix shield PCB, plus the IN-14 tube board. I've ordered all the parts for the shield from Mouser and I'm looking forward to the project!

I've got some dumb questions though....

First, how does the Arduinix derive its timebase ? I presume it's from the 555 IC and an RC circuit, as there's no crystal anywhere on the parts list. So how accurate is this? Or is the timebase derived from the clock of the arduino itself?

Second, I'd really like to add an "atomic clock" time input.....I'm in the UK and we have the 60KHz MSF signal available. I can buy a small module that will receive this (or even cheaper, strip the guts out of a

adm,

The ArduiNIX is not a clock.. but by coding your Arduino you can make it one. If you look at our simple clock code you will notice we just use the time functions off the Arduino. You can think of ArduiNIX as a driver for the tubes and you come up with what is displayed.

Hope that helps.
