We don't have any IN-12 tubes on hand to measure, so not sure yet if we'll do that.

What we do here is pretty demand based.  I don't mind making one for you, but in order to get them produced, we'd have to be able to support a market of around 50 of them to start with.

Is there anything we can do to help?  If you know of enough people wanting that board, sure, I'll make some schematics for one, but there's got to be a good demand.  OR we have to sell enough of the other boards to justify a new project.

Basically each previous product is going to pay for the next one, if that makes any sense.

Would be happy to send you IN-12b tubes and sockets.  There seems to a a number of good steady sources of these end-view Nixies from the Ukraine and other former USSR states.

Drop me a note if you'd like some sent out.

Cheers!

Yeah, it looks like there's almost as many of those as the IN-17s, this is good, because the board would be a widely useable piece.

If you don't mind sending one bulb and one socket, I can measure and send it back to you.  I can easily subsitute that bulb (if the pinouts are in the same order) into the previous board without too much work...

Email me for my address if you don't have it... bradley At robotpirate.com

Wondering what the thoughts are of doing a Four Tube IN-12 board now that you've some tubes and sockets in hand?

Suggesting a IN-12 and INS-1 combo in the 00:00 format, as often designs use the IN-17 if a seconds display is wanted (end up 00:00:oo in format)

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Steve

Yes, that's very doable.  I'll talk to Jeremy about when we could roll that out, and start mocking up a board over lunch this week.  Jer and I have been crunching this past week trying to get our next game out so we haven't had much robotpirate time, but this next week should offer more time for that.

I'd sign up for a couple of IN-12 boards when they're ready - would prefer six digits plus dots.
